How does AI sound generation work?
AI sound generation uses advanced artificial intelligence to create custom ambient sounds based on your text description. Simply describe the sound you want (e.g., "gentle rain on leaves"), and our AI will generate a unique audio file for you. The AI analyzes your prompt and creates realistic sound effects that match your description.
Tips for better results:
- Be specific (e.g., "soft ocean waves" vs just "ocean")
- Include details like intensity or mood
- Mention the environment or setting
What's included in the free version?
The free version includes:
- Access to basic white noise sounds
- Limited AI sound generation credits
- Sleep timer functionality
- Basic mixing capabilities
Free users will see advertisements. You can upgrade to Premium anytime to unlock all sounds, get daily AI generations, and remove ads.
How do AI generation credits work?
For Free Users: Limited credits available
For Premium Subscribers: 3 AI sounds per day (refreshes daily)
For Premium Plus Subscribers: 10 AI sounds per day
For Pro Subscribers: 10 AI sounds per day
You can also purchase credit packs that never expire:
- Small Pack: 10 credits for $2.99
- Medium Pack: 30 credits for $6.99
- Large Pack: 60 credits for $11.99
- Mega Pack: 100 credits for $16.99
Note: Purchased credits are used first, then daily subscription credits. Free users can use up to 10 credits per day (if they have purchased credits).
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:
- Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Kit White Noise
- Tap Cancel Subscription
You'll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Why aren't my sounds syncing between devices?
AI-generated sounds sync automatically via iCloud when you're signed in with the same account. If syncing isn't working:
- Make sure you're signed in with the same email on all devices
- Check your internet connection
- Try force-closing and reopening the app
- Ensure you're using the latest version of the app
If problems persist, please contact support.
Can I use sounds offline?
Yes! Once AI sounds are generated, they're saved locally on your device and can be played offline. The built-in sound library is also available offline. You only need an internet connection to generate new AI sounds.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you previously purchased a subscription or credits but they're not showing:
- Open the app
- Tap the Crown icon (top right)
- Scroll down and tap Restore Purchases
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase.
What's the difference between Premium, Premium Plus, and Pro?
Premium ($4.99/month):
- No ads
- Full sound library
- 3 AI sounds per day
- Extended AI duration (up to 30s)
- Cloud sync
Premium Plus ($9.99/month):
- Everything in Premium
- 10 AI sounds per day
- Priority generation (faster)
- Early access to new features
Pro ($14.99/month or $119.99/year):
- Everything in Premium Plus
- Save up to 40% with annual billing
- Best value for serious users
How do I delete my account?
To permanently delete your account and all associated data:
- Open the app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Privacy Policy
- Scroll down and tap Delete My Account
- Confirm deletion
Warning: This will permanently delete all your AI-generated sounds, preferences, and account data. This action cannot be undone.

The app is crashing or not working properly
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Force close the app: Swipe up from bottom (or double-click home) and swipe away Kit White Noise
- Restart your device: Turn your iPhone/iPad off and on
- Update the app: Check the App Store for updates
- Check your internet: Some features require a connection
- Free up storage: Make sure you have at least 500MB free
If the problem persists, please email us with:

How do I remove ads?
Ads are only shown to free users. To remove all ads:
- Tap the Crown icon in the top right
- Choose a Premium subscription
- Complete your purchase
Ads will be removed immediately after your purchase is confirmed. Premium subscribers never see ads.
